Cumberland Tree Pros
Terms of Use
These terms explain how cumberlandtreepros.com works, what we are and are not responsible for, and what you agree to when you use the site or request quotes.
These Terms of Use apply to cumberlandtreepros.com and take effect in October 2026. By using this site or submitting a quote request, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What We Are, and What We Are Not
Cumberland Tree Pros is a free referral service. We connect homeowners in Fayetteville and Cumberland County, North Carolina with independent, locally owned tree service companies. You can read more about the process on our how our referral service works page.
We are not a tree service contractor. We do not perform tree work, provide estimates for work, employ crews or supervise any job. Using our service is free for homeowners.
Tree Companies Are Independent
The tree companies we work with are separate, independent businesses. They are not our employees, agents or partners. Each company:
- Sets its own prices, terms, schedules and payment requirements
- Is solely responsible for the quality, safety and results of its work
- Is responsible for any licensing or permits where applicable
- Is responsible for carrying its own insurance
Any agreement for tree work is between you and the company you choose to hire. We are not a party to that agreement.
No Guarantee of Contact or Availability
Submitting a request does not guarantee that any company will contact you, provide a quote or be available for your job. Availability depends on your location, the type of work and how busy local companies are. After hurricanes, tropical storms or ice storms, demand for emergency storm tree removal can be very high, and response times may be longer.
Information on This Site
Articles, service descriptions and tree care guides on this site are general information only. They are not professional, legal, engineering or arborist advice for your specific property.
Prices in our Fayetteville tree service cost guide and elsewhere on the site are estimates for the area. Actual prices vary by tree size, access, hazards, cleanup and other factors. Only a written quote from a company that has seen your property reflects what you will pay.
If you are worried about a leaning, cracked or dying tree, a qualified professional should inspect it in person. An arborist tree assessment is one option. Never attempt work near energized power lines. Contact your electric utility instead.
Your Responsibilities as a Homeowner
You are responsible for choosing whom to hire. Before any work begins, we recommend that you:
- Ask for proof of general liability and workers’ compensation insurance, and confirm it is current
- Get a written estimate that describes the work, cleanup and price
- Ask about credentials such as ISA Certified Arborist. This is voluntary, and North Carolina has no statewide license for tree service companies.
- Check with the City of Fayetteville or your town or county about any rules for trees in the right-of-way, historic districts or development sites
- Compare more than one quote when time allows
Consent to Be Contacted
When you submit a request through our form, such as on the free quote request page, you agree to be contacted as described on that form. This may include contact from us and from the tree companies we connect you with, by the methods listed on the form. Please provide accurate information. Do not submit a request on behalf of someone else without their permission.
Limitation of Liability
This site and our referral service are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Cumberland Tree Pros is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, cost or dispute arising from:
- Work performed or not performed by any tree company
- Pricing, delays, billing or contract disputes with a company you hire
- Your reliance on general information or cost estimates on this site
- Your use of, or inability to use, this site
Any claim about tree work should be directed to the company that performed it.
